Terms of Service

Version 0.1-dev · in force since

Mudraa is a discussion forum, not an adviser. You must be 18 or older, follow the community rules, and take your own investment decisions.

DRAFT 1 FOR DEVELOPMENT ONLY. This is placeholder text for testing the Mudraa website. It is not Mudraa’s actual policy and is not legal advice.

1. About Mudraa

Mudraa (mudraa.com) is an online community where members discuss listed Indian companies, markets and personal finance. Mudraa is an intermediary that hosts content posted by members. Mudraa does not give investment advice, research reports, recommendations or price targets, and nothing on the site is an offer to buy or sell any security.

2. Who can join

You must be at least 18 years old. One person may hold one account. You must give a working email address and, before posting, verify a mobile number you control.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Your username must follow our username rules and must not impersonate any person, firm or regulator.
  • Your display name must not claim a status (for example “SEBI registered” or “verified”) or include a registration number.

4. What you post

  • You must follow the Community Rules. They form part of these Terms.
  • You keep ownership of what you post. You give Mudraa a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, moderate and archive it on the service.
  • Posts are screened by automated systems and may be reviewed by moderators before or after they appear.
  • When you write about a listed company, you must disclose whether you hold its shares.

5. No investment advice

Members’ posts are their personal views. They are not verified by Mudraa. Do your own research and consult a SEBI-registered adviser before investing. Posts by SEBI-registered analysts carry their registered name and number; Mudraa checks registration but does not endorse their research.

6. Moderation, restrictions and appeals

We may hold, remove or restrict content, and warn, restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or the Community Rules, or when the law requires it. You will be told the reason, and you can appeal. You can also contact our Grievance Officer.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion takes effect after a 14-day grace period. Some records are kept for the period the law requires.

8. Liability

[Placeholder: limitation of liability, indemnity and disclaimers — to be drafted by counsel.]

9. Law and disputes

[Placeholder: governing law (India) and jurisdiction — to be drafted by counsel.]

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mudraa.
