Check a SEBI registration number or a name against Mudraa’s records of the SEBI register. Anyone giving buy or sell calls for a fee must be registered with SEBI.

SEBI’s lists of registered intermediaries are the authority. Mudraa’s records can be up to a day old.

A registered analyst will never ask you to pay into a personal bank account or UPI ID, promise returns, or invite you to a paid WhatsApp or Telegram group. SEBI asks investors to pay registered analysts through its CeFCoM fee platform.
