i fumbled in tata steel i was inattentive to market --please take care of stop loss ji always
The best thing you can do is practice and know the material. It's scary enough being on stage, make it easier for yourself and know what you're supposed to say. Practice it enough so that you have it memorized and don't need to look down at notecards. ************************************************************************************ Take five, slow, deep breaths before going on stage. Just remind yourself that no one's judging you, they are interested in what you're saying, and if you mess up, it's likely that no one will even notice. Assure yourself that no matter what happens, everything will be okay. ****************************************************************** from http://www.wikihow.com/Overcome-Stage-Phobia
Really very interesting thread. Here i confess i am having stage fobia, i tried many times but its not leaving me. Whenever i give presentations or anything like that i get stuck up...... Thanks Bhupinder ji to start bsuch a nice thread.
i fumbled a lot in nifty dealing--ril i purchased it went down--unlucky and inattentive to keep away from sbi and tisco--i confess carelessness got better of me
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for the day, but teach a man how to fish and you feed him for his lifetime.
Great idea to create such interesting thread - confessing. I am not good in keeping up the temperment I am very pecimistic at times I am very impatient and sell stocks in loss or at lower profits. But nowadays there is a great change in the above points. I see myself cool even when things going against me. It gives me some time to think and decide what to do.
i could not track some of my stocks and had to sell at losss in evening--lesson be alert in market
Self learning out of mistakes committed but still having biggest weakness of buy / sell within 30 miutes of opening session, quite often without SL and then watching price movement instead of making initial deal based on market movement aftter initial turmoil of one hour from opening. Trying to control the initial temptation.
Wow. Some serious discussions. There was a guy walking in the corridor sadly as his head looking down. It was one of the famous company building where he was walking. Somebody asked other guy " Hey , what happened? why this guy is so sad? .Other said " Ahh, thats really very bad happened to him. There was a seminar in the company management "Confess our faults . Let's be winners" .. He confessed. They sacked him."
I want to share my trade mistakes in my early days.
1) Normally I trade NIFTY based on 30-200EMA crossover/Camarilla/GANN ratios. In the very beginning when I follow one strategy, loosing patience and jump to another strategy after the buy/sell gave me huge lose.
Lesson: Stick with one strategy at a time.
2) Confused by others opinion about market & changed the SL levels and get triggered.
Lesson: Emotional Trading System always gives Loss.
3) When I don't have any idea about market I mostly win. But some times Before the market I have a fixed thought that today market will be bullish & wait for the opportunity to GOLONG & missed to Short. Even it doesn’t give me loss, I have missed the good opportunity to SHORT.
Lesson: Don’t Fix the trend in mind before the market.
subash ji even i moved out of sbi call option of dear anant early and it went up to 130--u r right ---we should have patience as respected jagmohan ji tells us --nice post u have made here
Mr Malkesh call on Ranbaxt...I did enter @ the right price, but came out with rs 3 profit....but it went out to blast....my timing of getting out is not good...i have to be some what calm like elephant (I take this lesson from Mr JS)
excellen jaya ji u r a bibliophile good ji brilliant work ji
strength of weakness!
First thing is about Cricket. Any match. Since i was a bowler @ univ level and under18. (even i have bowled to present Selection comitte chairman ,Shrikanth while in nets for RanjiTrophy when i was in was in 8thStd)
i like to watch how the batsman decide his stance in a fraction of a second. if so, then Sachin is unexplainable here. God has givien him smart brain and instant stimulation of nerves to read the ball before one bowler releases the ball.
Only i may tend to be spendthrift is not on food but ON books. Even my wife is worse than me. her individual has a collection of more than 550+ books ranging various topics. Its number increases with every week end shopping@ Reliance TimeOut and Used book centre+foothpath pirates.
Next thing i am weak @ gadgets. To say gadgetGizmo.
these my present weakness.
i confess i like spicy food despite blood presure
i shall do spade work soon --may be for bba ,b com students of college where i was founder principal -another confession i am writing an article on india struggle for freedom--just today night and tomorrow morning
BhupinderJi: Pl send me the article objective and the goal which u want to achieve, and I will make then my first cut ppt and send to u for ur review.
If any comments, let me know, I will then modify further and resend to you.
Let's make sure, this gala event has to happen.
Can we say 3rd Sat of Mar for booking, and if all goes well, I will try to reach to u by then
RESPECTED rakesh ji it would be an honour to invite you to chandigarh --i am planning to form investors friendship circle here as ten of my students are heading six broker house here --in which paper your article appeared or is appearing --coming to confession --i am also postponing matters unduly may be old age now ji
