Many of us have this dream.

1.Nothing to do - just open an acct wth the broker  . 
2. receive one or two great tips from someone - 
3.trade on them . 
4.reach the targets intraday 
   and 
5. mint money.

A lot of us go through this thought process.
But from where do we get these lovely tips.??

There are so many sources. But basically all in the following two categories .  
YES - u guessed right .          

They are 
    paid tips             and 
    free tips.
First we will look at the paid tips.
 
Just search on google and you will get multiple options.That is if you have not been approached by someone already . Many use the sms route for marketing.

Now we ask them to give us a free trial , then we may haggle for  a service with lower subscription charge , and then hope for the best and trade .

So far so good .But only so far as we keep making profits on these trades . What if the trades go wrong. More on this later .
Second category  - free tips.
There are many sources of this too.

- Most business newspapers carry intraday tips on a daily basis. If you keep your tv ON and watch the business channels for an hour before market starts , one may get about 40 odd trade ideas. and many many more during the market hours.

and then again - so many ideas on sites as this lovely one which we use - MUDRAA.  

All these are free tips. or are they?

Now this is also an  information overload.
 
How do we know which one to trade on. More on this later.

what is vital to remember is that whether we trade on a free tip or on a tip provided by a tips provider , the trade capital is not given to us by the  source of  the tip..    When we trade - the capital we put in the trade  is the real fees paid . the risk of the loss and the loss incurred is the cost . 

No one is going to compensate for this . 

Those of us who have lost money on trades given by paid service providers / or free tips providers wil understand what i mean.

So friends rather than chasing this dream - lets better use the time we have and build our own knowledge and skill in this market..

Brilliant! I had missed it earlier!

Praksh...So friends rather than chasing this dream - lets better use the time we have and build our own knowledge and skill in this market... Well said. Many members are attempting to provide good threads on learning. It is upto us to utilise these threads and take an informed trade. My feeling is people run behind the tips rather than understanding the tip. This should be avoided. Lets learn !!!
