it is true that retailers are at the losing end but what we must try and improve is our processing of the truckloads of data that is thrown at us; again there are two options one being to use a computer or an algo or a scanner or a progrma to do the job for us , please note that this type of a program shall be complex in structure and shall have to be tested across various instruments and across various time frames.
the other easier option is to check out 5 to 10 good stocks create a watch list and track them for a few days before one starts making strategies according to ones risk apetite>
please note that the monthly nifty options shall continue so if you are not looking to play weeekly expiries on the nifty please let it go; don't waste good time on peripherals.
I hope this helps you in ways of filtering and selecting instruments that you trade in .
all brokers have decided to bankrupt retailers that is why they have introduced weekly expiry. they know how to make big money during expiry days by selling options, we retailers fall prey to their game. This will never end, unless we retailers understand how difficult to earn money and how easy to loose money.
