As per the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines, the exchanges are required to conduct mock as well as live trading sessions from disaster recovery sites to check the robustness of their systems.
Trading members using third-party trading platforms can also use this opportunity to test their respective trading applications during mock trading sessions for various functionalities, including those under exceptional market conditions, BSE said.
The session will be conducted from BSE’s disaster recovery site in Hyderabad.
NSE will conduct the mock trading session in the capital market, currency derivatives and futures and options (F&O) segments on June 4, it said in separate circulars.
