dear stranger uncle
had a santro.
he was to attend a meeting
in the city
100 miles away
yesterday.
he would have reached there
yesterday only
and missed seeing me
had the meeting not got postponed
for today morning.
he was now to leave
early morning today
while i would have been still sleeping
and would have again missed me.
again
he didn't
as he couldn't
for the mild snowfall
overnight.
dear stranger uncle
had got very late
to leave for the meeting
in the city 100 miles away
but
reached the road
just across our family kennel
just in time
this afternoon
to crush my tini puppy legs
while i was crossing the road
on time
searching for my mom
gone searching for food.
