BAIT:definition:Food or other lure placed on a hook or in a trap and used in the taking of fish, birds, or other animals.
YOU MAY WONDER WHY I PUT THIS HERE.Many tell me that i exit sometimes too early from profit. For me,a reasonable profit is more than enough...Usually,levels above our profit booking may be a BAIT by operators and greedy traders fall for it.Illustriated with yesterday's trade below...
IN STOCKMARKET,DO NOT GET GREEDY.BE SATISFIED WITH REASONABLE PROFIT.IN THE END ,A GREEDY TRADER'S BALANCE SHEET IS ALWAYS IN RED!!

Syam, After reading this I am repenting, why I didnot read this before !!!!.

Today, I bought 4900 call @ 63 (10 lots) booked early @ 68, it went to 86!!!. I came back and saw it caming down hurried entered @ 81.5 and saw it went down upto 56, again averaged it to get average price @ 67.53 and exited @ 69.65, making overall gain of Rs 1050, where as I had made more than double this profit in the first trade itself. In the end my BROKER is getting fatter ( healthier) every day!!!!. Last three days I have traded heavily and made profit in the first trade of the day and then losses. I agree levels are very important only an experienced well learned trader can only tell correct levels. Thanks for a good post.

Dear Nair.In last fortnight I have missed four profitable opportunities in anticipation of higher gains. Some veterns advocate : hold your profitable trades tightly. But in the present scenerio it is not true. Well said.
